As first time cruisers we were a bit apprehensive about the whole structure of the trip. We needn’t have been. The tours and tour guides provided a wide range of options. Lots to do and plenty of time to relax as well. I would have liked an additional cycling option at a moderate level. Think “stop and smell the roses” rather than spandex road warrior. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations and the food on the ship. It was nice to have someone else take care of the day-to-day planning with our only decisions being what to eat for breakfast and which tour to join. Surprisingly (to me) we are already thinking about our “next” River cruise.
